Civil Alliance Ltd
Working for Civil Alliance I was initially seconded to the Transport Rebuild East Coast Alliance (TREC). At TREC I worked on planning and developing construction methodologies for pricing and execution of emergency repair works.
After my stint at TREC I worked on tendering projects and providing engineering support to projects at hand.
- KM228 slip repair for KiwiRail, north of Whangarei
- Otiria Rail Yard drainage upgrades for KiwiRail, Northland
- FNDC’s Omapere drainage project, Northland
Hick Bros Civil Ltd
At Hick Bros I was engaged to project manage the Three Kings Quarry Development, which included Separable Portions for a new wastewater pumpstation and rising main, a local road upgrade and extension into the former quarry including major retaining structures as well as the construction of a sports field and construction of quarry floor backfill, drainage and roading works.
Downer New Zealand
For Downer NZ I worked in the New Business Team as Bid Manager on a large number of tenders and for several projects I then moved into the project execution team as engineering support.
Projects I worked on:
- City Rail Link (seconded to the LINK Alliance), providing engineering support to, in particular, the Mt Eden Station construction
- AC36 America’s Cup project (seconded to the Wynyard Edge Alliance), working as adjunct Engineering Manager
Fletcher Construction
When I moved to New Zealand, I worked for Fletcher Construction’s Infrastructure Division.
Over the decade that I was with Fletchers, I fulfilled various roles and I worked on the following projects:
