Between June 2003 and June 2005 I worked on the Noord-/Zuid Lijn in Amsterdam. This mega project is divided in several sections and I was as Project Engineer involved in the immersed tunnel under the river IJ, a.k.a. "contract 2.2".
On this project I was responsible for site establishment and planning of the structural works, the acquisition of the tunnel formwork, concrete, rebar and internal pre-tensioning systems. Besides that I was also responsible for managing the financial resolution of contract variations and negotiating those with the client.
